That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

honestly - the best day of the christmas season - 90% of the people in the store are last minute shoppers - they tend to be cheerful. happy. even excited. Though who wants to wrk xmas eve, it was one of the better days to work durring the christmas season when I worked retail.

Our wings are not tired.

I have a bit of last minute shopping to do too. Toy stuff for the little ones on my list (not mine). This is a Brendon job. I've made him a list. The rest of the shopping will have to wait.

I don't have anything for my husband other than a couple clothing items. Nothing for my siblings or their grown children. The teens get cash. I was much more organized than usual with my family sekrit santa gifts, and my Buffista sekrit santa gifts, and my children. Everyone else got neglected.

Yikes for the even more than usual crazy schedule coming up. Today I drive over for Christmas Eve dinner and presents and such with my family 150 miles away. Drive back tonight late to be home for Christmas morning. When I get home put out the Santa gifts for the kids and stockings. Tomorrow I have dinner at my house for DH's side and some others. Sunday and Monday we work like fools to get stuff done before end of year / leaving town. Tuesday I have the big party for Brendon's 40th then Wednesday at 4AM I head for the airport to spend the next 10 days in the mountains. I'm going to have to pack sometime too.

I'm tired now just thinking about it. Off to do laundry and stuff.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Gronk.

Hm.

So if I haven't wrapped any of my presents and actually still have some more to buy, that's bad, right? I mean, is Christmas really tomorrow?

I think I'm in trouble.

ETA: And what does it say about me that my Buffista Seekrit Santa was in the mail a week early given the fact that I'm still not done with my own family??

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I'm tired just hearing it, Laura. My day has consisted totally of checking email, building a fire, buying beer and walking around a castle. It's a nice way to live.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We have to go find fruit this morning for tomorrow morning.

But I just want to go back to bed.

I can't even.

You have your priorities straight? Oops, bad invisible internet friend!

I'll have a bunch of wrapping to do when I get to Calgary. I try to avoid the gleeful frenzied unwrapping of presents by airport security. Gah.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay for Kristin in LA! Hopefully it won't be while I am in the midwest.

Well, that's not a terrifically difficult task.

Are you at your parents' or Paul's? ETA: For Christmas stuff, I mean.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Still wrapping... Did I mention that I suck at this?

DXM, when it doubt, maul it with tape.
