Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Heather, that looks (a) crazy, (b) unenforceable, and (c) did I mention crazy?

(eta: nice number!)

Ann, that's a ferret.

Heather, the only saving grace to that is that it's only been proposed -- not law.

OTOH, we're talking about VA. It might be law by this time next month.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Is the TLC afternoon block the one that has "Wedding Story" and "For Better or For Worse"? Love those two.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think those might be on when I watch L&O and/or Dr. Phil. When I'm home. On TLC, I love While You Were Out/Clean Sweep/In A Fix. This lady on In A Fix the other night literally fell out -- first she fainted, then she started waving the bible around. The crew was a little weirded out, but then moved. It was wild.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh. My sibs are bringing the dog back this afternoon - she's been staying in Milwaukee over the holidays. Helpfully, they first let her [whitefonted for the squeamish] eat a bunch of left over lasagne with sausage that sat out for several days, causing an apparently raging case of dog diarrhoea (sp?).

Thanks, guys.

Helpful suggestions, anyone?

Punishingly Intricate

Helpful suggestions, anyone?

Plain white rice and boiled chicken. I'm so sorry they did that to you.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Plenty of fluids--that's not only messy, but really bad for the dog. I'd say "what were they thinking," but they clearly weren't.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Jesse, help me out here. Maxine's evil female boss, Susie, I think. Where have I seen her before?

Plain white rice and boiled chicken.

Check. That's what I told them when they called me last night. And thanks for the reminder about the fluids.
