We should talk about it sometime, Kat. Actually, I'll be in Cali in April. If you're around and we do dinner or some such, I could fill you in then.

Cool!

Oliver's on my TV. The hate is large.

I'll tell you up front that the biggest hassle I had with them was the SIX HOUR LAYOVER in D.C. that made our first "day" about 36 hours long (including a walking tour). However, everyone else I know who led a CHA tour claims this has never happened to them.

It was, hands down, the best teaching experience of my life.

I would recommend taking no one under the age of 15, however. The few 9th graders I had were a little bit young to be on a trip like that without parents and such.

Oooh, Kristin's coming to LA!

England is so cool.

Ah. Well. It'll be me with 8th graders. EF Tours is the group that is being recommended by the folks at my school. I fear the hardest part will be funding.

Ah yes. Well, it can still work just fine. I would recommend a very high adult-to-student ratio, though.

EF Tours...haven't heard too much about them, but I know my friend Amanda has used them. I'll ask her and get back to you.

Oooh, Kristin's coming to LA!

Yep! Totally am. Hope to meet you!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I love the long Chanel commercial. It's better than the short ones.

And Alibelle continues to be my exact opposite in matters of movies and movie-like things.

ION, I may in fact be insane. I have decided to try and host a NYE party in my small-ish apartment. (It's more poorly laid out than small. If things like walls and doors were in slightly different places it would be much more party-friendly.)

I hope to meet you too! April in LA is nice. I'm wishing you big fun.

I don't think those comments are as unrelated as you might think.

Though I agree that the commercial is crazy Moulin Rouge-esque. But since that movie is kind of rip offy, and what makes it great is all the fun music and the pretty, there's no reason I wouldn't love more of the same, when Chanel does it.

you know what I need? a picture of Michael Vartan in a skirt. Can any of you make that happen?
