Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am not going to Brazil this X-mas. My first Christmas Eve flight was from Brazil to LA on Varig a couple of years ago. This year's X-mas Eve flight is just from NY to LA, so if there are any Brazilian carolers, it will be by sheer coincidence which would be AWESOME. And I'm not gone yet. I was just on a break to watch "Gitanas".

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know, if I weren't maybe workiing something out with Lee, I wanted to come out to Seattle and play maidservant for Plei and visit you once again.

You should totally try to do both. I think my trip is likely to be after your spring break, and I would probably be in Ohio over a weekend, so I could see you then.

eta: I just saw your LJ post, which I had missed before. I will find out this week when our big arbitration is. If it is before your break, chances are good I could go that week. We'll talk when you get back in the States.

I always have great flights, even the crappy ones, 'cause I love flying. And I only wish I were going to Brazil for X-mas. But, DH and I are trying to finagle it so that we can get down there for carnival this spring (hopefully with SPP herself in tow!)

Trudy at Carnival? One's head fairly explodes at the possibilities.

Trust my rage

I sounds like such a loser when I say this, but carnival is/was my least favorite time in Rio - except the parade, which was a blast.

ETA: I really sounds like a loser when I can't conjugate my verbs.

Ans poor cash and owen and husband - what an unpleasant way to spend Christmas. I hope their power is back soon.

I can see that. Crowds, noise, freakin' tourists. I imagine it must not be very fun if you live there. But the parade is gorgeous, even on TV (which is the only place I've seen it. I've never been in the Sambodromo) and whenever I eventually do get to go, I plan to join one of the Samba schools so I can dance in the Sambodromo. So I gotta go soon before the boobs fall.
