It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Up with the sun

I wonder if no one questioned it too closely because no one wanted to sound like they were making excuses for a child murderer. I'm not sure why it would have had that effect, but that's all I can think of.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sorry for the sucky days, Steph and Juliana. I went back to sleep, and feel a little better. I hope your days get better as well.

If Yates' defense attorney was bad enough not to ask for a copy of the episode, I'm glad she's getting a new trial.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

But wouldn't airing a tape supplied by the network cost a hell of a lot less than sending one of their own?

As someone who works in broadcast/news footage sales, this made me laugh out loud. News networks? NSM with the giving away stuff for free. (Some networks were making footage available for free in the immediate aftermath, but we're way past that now. At this point, if you want footage, you pay through the nose for it, and most affiliates don't have any budget for that sort of thing. They DO have budgets for sending reporters overseas.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LJ -- it's just off the cuff for "was a bad experience, feel tawdry for it." Doesn't stand up to comprehensive scrutiny.

VM is currently in my "something to do" territory. I wish something I watched on Wednesdays would move opposite it.

damn people are silly. Just read teh following on a restaurant write up:

"Non-meat successes include the superb rabbit stew--sweetened with pearl onions and a touch of fortified wine--and the braised lamb shanks with orzo."

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I wish something I watched on Wednesdays would move opposite it.

I'd like to check out Life As We Know It, but it's moving opposite The O.C. (Theoretically I could tape The O.C. and watch LaWKI, but I'm that requires a lot of planning and forethought -- in my world, at least -- so I don't know if it'll happen.)

Scripted? Hawaii's gone, Dead Like Me will not be returning, and dr. vegas and Clubhouse and LAX are cancelled too.

eta: Most of those aren't this season, though. Just the top seven or so.

What was Still Life? I don't even remember that.
