Reynolds, I'm a dangerous-minded man on a ship loaded with hurt. Now, why you got me chatting with your peons?

What is even happening?

It has been in the 50s here. I was surprised to see the snow this morning.

No snow here! Whee!

I had to change the channel during the TAR soup challenge, as I started gagging. I really try to make a policy to never watch anything with that sort of scene as I'm a sympathetic puker. Who doesn't. So just painful heaves.

Why am I whitefonting?

Little Superman looks concerned!

Things I have decided from watching TAR:

Hayden needs to be paired with Jonathan
Gus doesn't understand what hurry means
Victoria needs massive therapy and to be on her own for a while
Aaron might actually sabotage his own team just to annoy Hayden
Rebecca, while no great catch, should run as fast as possible away from Adam
Kendra is a horrific waste of space and Freddie desearves her.

The status is NOT quo.

They just called it. We're out early. They are ignoring all common sense and are not splitting our third block class so we can also see our fourth block. Argh. Must ram administrators' heads against cluestick.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Cindy, yeah, I saw. But I've had a couple small ones -- (slightly TMI details discreetly hidden for the squeamish) just a drop or two in the last couple weeks. This one, though, was enough to stain a hanky and need a cotton ball stuffed up a nostril.

Boston should run through its snow allotment for the entire winter season while I'm gone, I hope!

is it too early for me to start the "Tonight Is Alias" chant?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It's snowing here, too. I took a sick day, and it looks like a picked a good day to do it.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

TAR:

Oh, I remember the caviar challenge very well. The Fear Factor-ness of this one came from the puking and the eating of the puke and blah blah blah. Re: GateGate, they did slow that segment down a bit, so I was able to tell that Hera got hit too. In general, there was a nasty, nasty vibe, between the gate coming down, and the yelling, and the shoving scrabbling for the numbers for the vibrate-y truck (hee! Kris!) It was all very gross, in different ways. Gotta give it to Rebecca, for slurping that soup like a machine and then puking in the bushes!

Also, I don't believe Jon puked. Though he looked like he would, which is why I suspect he had such difficult time finding a cab after that challenge. And, HAAAAAAAAATE Hayden. I may start calling her HAAAAAAAAAYTen.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The 70-ish weather that Flea mentioned has me making all kinds of unlikely plans, such as getting my bike fixed up, riding it to work, that sort of thing. When the temperature goes back to it's normal 35F, you can bet that my newly refurbished bike will lean against the livingroom wall for another two months, and furthermore I won't stick it back on the exercycle converter thingy because I'll be all "I'm gonna ride it in to work as soon as the temp goes up 5-10 degrees, honest."

good call on the sick day.

I am spending all day getting things prepped for a meeting tomorrow. Prep takes so much longer than the actual meeting.
