Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Comet picture from APotD: [link]

Still haven't been able to see it myself. Stoopid clouds and rain....

What is even happening?

Aunts and uncles are there to fill in parents' gaps.
Huh. I thought we were there to fill the nieces and nephews with Jolt cola and Twinkies before dropping them off at home. Have I been doing it wrong?
I think I'm beginning to understand why they got you that lamp, DX.

Gronklies, everyone.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Re: TAR:

I totally thought that Lori bit Phil. Taking that "vampire ritual" to heart are we? That team totally has the Killer Fatigue.

Also, when did TAR become Fear Factor?

So gross.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies!

We're supposed to get three to ten inches of snow in the next 24 hours. Winter is here!

The status is NOT quo.

It's already snowing here. I suspect an early dismissal today and a snow day tomorrow...which would be more exciting if exams weren't next week and we hadn't already used one of our snow days.

I don't want to get out of school on June 26th like last year. Le ick.

What is even happening?

It's snowing here too, Kristin. I don't expect an early dismissal though. It seems the roof has to collapse for that to happen, in our town. Two years ago, I pulled Ben out of school during a storm, because the driving had been so bad, when I picked up Julia and Chris from pre-school. He was miffed, until he realized how much the car was sliding. I didn't want to be sliding into all the other cars, and the walking children, at the scheduled end of the school day.

information libertarian

It's been 70 degrees all week here. Which is WRONG.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Timelies!

I'm still waking up way too early, but at least I got to bed at 10 PM "this time" instead of 1 AM "real time."

TAR: they usually have at least one eating challenge per season -- last season they had two. I doubt they expected so much vomiting, though, but sometimes once somebody starts, that's what happens. (Think of the pie-eating contest story in Stand By Me.) Kendra didn't help her "stupid as dirt" reputation any by pointing out the vomit left behind to Freddie.

Somebody should have totally vomitted on Jonathan. Just when you think the man can't get any more appalling.

Was Gus the only eater who didn't vomit at all?

What is even happening?

flea, New Englanders don't belong down there. It's your own fault. You can't blame the south for being warm.

eta...

Theo, did you see you and Nutty both had your first nosebleed of the season, on the same day?
