Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, are you a fan of those "women in prison" movies?

WiPs? Hell, yeah!

Good dream, Rick. We should all dream of being squired around by Madrigal and Shrift. That's a lot of snark to go with the babe-liness.

Soon after, I had a dream where I was in a crowed sports bar watching a basketball game when Lorne came in with Madrigal on one arm and Shrift on the other.

Make it hockey and I'm there!

Oh, wait, we're not getting hockey.

I am amused by the green guy going blue. Had I been out with a guy prattling on about U of M, I probably would have started singing the MSU fight song in self-defense.

Dueling fight songs. Did that at a piano bar once. There were Kamikaze shots served in test tubes.

nice work, tiggy! Yep, not quite the same, but surprisingly close. Who knew that there is such similar architecture in Sunnydale and Newport?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hi all!

We just discovered we have way more presents for older niece than we do for younger niece, who is 4. Any hive mind suggestions for last minute gifts?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, so I learnt things (among which -- I want dream!shrift's shirt). People do buy their wives (it was always given this way round as an example, except for one parent->daughter) luxury cars for Christmas. December is the year with highest luxury car sales.

Also, that Whittaker guy who won the lottery has had a lousy time of it, but that lousy time includes repeatedly being robbed of thousands in cash.

Dude. Come on.

when we were driving around LA for the sites tour that year, it was amazing how similar all of the houses looked. it's definitely a popular style in that area. does the OC actually film in Orange County?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

tiggy, no. Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes.

But the faux craftsman is a common look, especially in the upper-end yet-still-older, not-in-a-gated-community houses.

Sweet zombie Jesus. Due to our company being acquired, I have to fill out "a survey to determine how we spend our time and to identify opportunities for optimization and common barriers across functional groups."

I suppose it wouldn't be a good idea to write down my job description as "doing shit what is more important than helping you all re-engineer our processes."
