I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Swouncing

Skipping (again) to only poke my head (again). I'm so glad that there are good reasons to make me do that occasionally.

Anyway, the reason I'm here now is that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is ita's birthday. Happy birthday, ita! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful kravful year.

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

Happy Birthday ita.

(Is Nilly, like, the official Buffistas Birthday Clown or something?)

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Nilly is, like, Nilly, the one and only. She keeps the Buffista Calendar for those who wish to have events commemorated. She does other things too. For example: [link] and [link]

I do not think she is a clown.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Birthday Happies to ita!!!!!

Happy Birthday ita!

Back at work today. Gronk.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

First of all, Nilly is not a clown.

Second of all, Happy Birthday, ita!!!

(And also to my brother, who turns 50 today.)

for those of you who like Cook's Illustrated or watch America's Test Kitchen, the cookbooks from ATK are AWESOME.

I gave one to my SIL for Christmas. I so wanted to keep it. Bridget Lancaster is my seekrit celebrity girlfriend.

I also have it on pretty good authority that the Pats move to Hartford was a bluff Bob Kraft totally got called on - there was no way he was going to move the team out of Foxboro if it wasn't to Boston, and Boston ponied up some dough on top of it.

Yeah, I know. They tried the same crap with Providence. Which makes me wonder why anyone in Connecticut still roots for them, given how they hosed that state.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, ita!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Happy Birthday, ita!

And, whatever would we do without Nilly? I miss her so.

And, what channel is ATK on? I think I need to start watching. I am large with the Cooks Illustrated love, although in a limited way, i.e., when I go to my aunt and uncles', and read it there.

Or, I could google.

I am a geek. One of my personal projects of the day is to work up a spreadsheet to track all of our expenses. It is surprisingly tricky with 2 people.

Also, if you are so inclined, green-card ~ma to Tom would be much appreciated, as he is en route to the government offices to get the resident passport stamp and the green card. Which apparantly is not actually green. His apointment is at 9:20, and though I'm sure everything will go fine, there's always an opportunity for a burocracy to screw up.
