It's hailing (with thunder and lightening). NO WAY. Almost like snow, but more like small balls of ice.
It's not here yet. I miss all the fun.

Much better. It's still kind of swollen, but not much purple any more.
I hope it gets better soon, because I need to buy new shoes for the winter, and I can't try anything on until it heals.
Holy moly.

We got that for several hours on Saturday. Then it all congealed together into one mass and now every inch of flat surfaces in town is covered by a whiteish glaze of ice 1/4 inch to an inch thick, as the temp dropped below freezing, and into the teens.
Now it is like concrete. I can't even chip it very well with an ice chisel.
I wonder if that'll make it out of the valley.
If it could possibly wait until after Allyson has landed and I've gotten her home safely, I'd sure appreciate that.
At this point, rain of toad has to got to be next.
Get the fuck out of town, pigeon lady. I wonder if that'll make it out of the valley.
I don't think so.
I also realize, tomorrow is my first day of intersession and I have to carry 120 books, 2500 pages of workbook like document, brads (I love the word brads in this context), my overheads, my overhead projector and overhead pens.
Please let the rain wait until mid morning. Else, I'm leaving everything in the car and then I'll park in USC's garage and the first order of class business will be a fun field trip to the parking structure.

Do they get to go to structure X? That was always my favorite.
When does Allyson land?
ita, have you seen the pigeon book?
Also cysts with teeth? I'm askeered.
I don't know where structure X is. We're on the north end of campus this week. I know the building but not the room number. So I should park on the north end.
I should have skipped the hair and teeth conversation for AFTER I'd eaten.
Live and learn.
ita, have you seen the pigeon book?
Yes, I did. And I consider the pigeon a threat to the wellbeing of the community, so if it's healthy, we should eat it. If not, consign it to manual labour AWAY from combustion engines. Machinery of any sort.
We're also going to have to redefine manual.
