We got that for several hours on Saturday. Then it all congealed together into one mass and now every inch of flat surfaces in town is covered by a whiteish glaze of ice 1/4 inch to an inch thick, as the temp dropped below freezing, and into the teens.
Now it is like concrete. I can't even chip it very well with an ice chisel.

I also realize, tomorrow is my first day of intersession and I have to carry 120 books, 2500 pages of workbook like document, brads (I love the word brads in this context), my overheads, my overhead projector and overhead pens.
Please let the rain wait until mid morning. Else, I'm leaving everything in the car and then I'll park in USC's garage and the first order of class business will be a fun field trip to the parking structure.

Yes, I did. And I consider the pigeon a threat to the wellbeing of the community, so if it's healthy, we should eat it. If not, consign it to manual labour AWAY from combustion engines. Machinery of any sort.
