A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

And, you know, it's San Diego, not Kiribati. So if you forget your toothbrush, you should be able to rally. (Now go make sure you've got your toothbrush).

Hi Sean!

I'm really trying to feel sorry for the soggy LAistas. I really am.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm really trying to feel sorry for the soggy LAistas. I really am.

I'll try, but not succeed. We're soggy here, too. And probably a lot colder.

Happy birthday shrift!

Don't have to work today but I was up at 7:30 and have finished reading a book, shoveled the driveway and back walk, and have written out my grocery list for my visit to the grocery store. I don't know why I made a list - I could have just written "everything" or "all of it" and that would have said it all.

I know, you look exhausted from all the trying. Poor dear.

I'm terribly pleased with the midsixties weather we are having. I don't have to wear the coat that weighs a ton!

It is monday. As it is monday, and the first monday of the month, I have much monthly work to do. The morning started oh so well, with a mosquito bite (in January! But...sixties. In January) and poopy cat-butt. At least I got up early so had plenty of time to deal. Though I may claw my ankle off if the antihistimine cream doesn't start working soon.

I'm having a terrible time typing today.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Toothbrush (and backup toothbrush) packed!

Except now I can't find my Sims disc... having used it in months, and now that I wil be in a situation where I want hours and hours of time sucked up while I wait, it's nowhere to be found....

We are going to have similar days except that I lazed in bed until 9:30, haven't shovelled anything yet and I'm thinking of foregoing groceries and going to see A Very Long Engagement instead.
