'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Hippo Birdies, Shrift!

I woke up 5:30ish, turned over to go back to sleep and with a lightning-bolt like jolt remembered that I'm flying today. Eeek! Must finish packing! You couldn't have woken me up any faster than if you'd used a cattle prod.

The bad news is that I'm flying to San Diego by way of Atlanta. (One guess what carrier it is....) The good news is that the Atlanta->SD leg is first class courtesy of a frequent flyer upgrade. So I will rattle my jewelry at the Buffistas whom I pass by overhead....

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Many Happy Returns of the Day, Shrift.

Good, safe, and as-pleasant-as-possible fights for Theodosia.

I have not yet slept. Assuming I can keep from napping, it is all part of my genious (and often failed) plan to get on a better sleep schedule, as, at some point, I will be starting a job.

Shrift! Happy Birthday! You share a birthday with Tolkein and my godson Connor. Apparently only cool people are born on Jan 3.

I slept not at all last night, only getting an hour between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. But that hour was such deep sleep that I literally couldn't move for a few minutes after my brain woke up. It was scary.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy birthday, shrift!

Timelies!

We have freezing rain here. And I can't find my umbrella. I might have to use a broken one....

Happy Birthday, shrift!

I am at work, but don't remember exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. Brain not entirely functional.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Annoy, tiny blonde one. Annoy like the wind!

Oo, Tom! Good advice.

Must change tag back.

Edit: Done. Now must go about annoying them.

Also, Tom, we're still on for the 14th, right? I know the trivia thing is a no go, but save the date anyway, 'kay? Mwah.

Ugh, freezing rain is not of the enjoyable.

It's supposed to snow here this week. While it's snowed in Athens the last few years running, it's still an unusual happening, and people are talking about global warming and stuff. I think I may be spending too much time at b/org though, because I swear I heard someone say "melting polar ASSCAPS."
