Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Google has done up a clever New Year's Day logo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Star Wars on TV?

I broke my lazing long enough to clean the bathroom. Now I must lounge extra hard to make up for it. Leftovers will be involved.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

So, the GF and I were all dolled up and ready to head out to GirlBar at about 9:20 last night. I called Yello Cab (it took a couple of tries to get through). We waited for the cab to arrive. And waited. And waited. And waited. At 10:20, we gave up and went to the store to get some champs. We came home and lit up all 3 trees, changed into lounge wear, and watched Rope. At 11:55, we turned on the TV to watch the ball drop. At 12:05, we turned Rope back on. So, we're out $40 for the GB tix, but we had a fine time all the same. I have cinnamon rolls in the oven. All in all, not a bad way to ring in the new year. Happy 2005!

Trust my rage

Every time I have seen capoeira, I have been completely transfixed by it. I've seen guys doing it on the street, just having fun, and I've seen it in shows and while different, each is amazing.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Happy New Year!

I have a very random question, and figured this was the best place to post it. Can anyone place the woman who voices the current AOL commericals? I suspect it is Carey Lowell (Richard Gere's wife, former Assistant DA on Law and Order) , but I can't be sure and it's really starting to bug me. Can anyone confirm?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

d, I was thinking it was Julia Roberts. But that's just a guess, not based on actual proof.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'd say that's a good guess, although either could be. But I don't know, despite being into L&O pretty heavily at one stage of my life.

I'm not huge into L&O, but I've seen a few; her voice sounds more true to my internal memory banks than Julia Roberts' does. It's just one of those things that annoy me - I have to place people or voices or smells, and until I can, well....

Sometimes I waste entirely too much brainpower on useless things.

Tep was right. Funny, they sound like each other.
