It's past 4 in this timezone.

But still not time to go home.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

On the plus side, Pete and Paul FINALLY stopped playing Halo 2...

I'm thinking 4 will happen for me far too soon, but that's because I have shit I want to get done before daylight goes away.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Damn. What's the point in them letting us leave early if time stops?

Leave early? What is this leave early that you speak of?

(Tho' I shouldn't complain too much; my very cool boss told me to take tomorrow and Monday off, and to mark 8 hours on my timecard for tomorrow. Yay!)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

What's the point in them letting us leave early if time stops?

I don't know, but I think time stopped because our office was promised good French wine at 4. I tried to get actual Champagne, but was foiled by my Big!Boss' love for the red.

What, just now? Ooooh, Pete will get NO sympathy from me if he says his day was hectic ...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If it can be 4 without first being 2, I'd be happy with that. I need to prep for a meeting, and my brain's not back from holiday.

I'm in a restaurant having lunch. A waitress comes over and asks me if I work for t MyCompany . I cop to it, and she asks me if I work with t Joe FamiliarName -- because he's her boyfriend and he mentioned me ("You do that ... martial art?").

Which is nice, except -- weird. It's not like we work Work together. We were in a class team together once.

And then I realised I'd left my wallet behind, and had to make a production of getting permission to pay by cheque.

Oops.

Yep. JUST now. I think they'd been at it since about noon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I don't know about the rest of you, but here in Evanston, time has stopped at 3:35.

hmmph. I would be cranky, but since I'm spending all day tomorrow at the fantabulous spa, I'll just smirk. Unless he makes a comment about a hectic day. Then I will snicker.
