The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So if I set up a shrine to the coffee gods and pray there several times daily, does that mean I'm no longer an agnostic?

If you have to shovel out the spot everytime you leave AND return, you know damn well there's some schmuck out there who hasn't shoveled shit. And they MUST PAY.

Exactly. And since I live in a complex, I mostly know which car belongs to which person. I KNOW WHERE THEY LIVE. They should be very glad I'm as nice as I am.

Ahem. Yes, I'm slightly insane on this topic and I haven't even had to shovel yet this year.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And since I live in a complex, I mostly know which car belongs to which person. I KNOW WHERE THEY LIVE. They should be very glad I'm as nice as I am.

Yeah, I'd be leaving notes on windshields and piles of crap on doorsteps, personally.

Snow reminds me yet again why I'm glad to be a renter with no car. I don't have to shovel anything!

Swouncing

Poking my head (yeah, I skipped again. Only a few dozens posts this time, but still), to post before I have to run off for the weekend.

First, according to the Buffista Calendar, Saturday, the 1st of January, will be Susan W's birthday, so lots of early wishes for her, for a great day and a wonderful year.

Also, for all of you who note the ending of a calendar year and the beginning of a new one on Saturday - lots of "let a year and its cursings end, let a year and its blessing begin" (badly translated Hebrew wish, said before the Jewish new-year holiday).

And, um, you know, good rest-of-the-day, rest-of-the-week, rest-of-whatever-it-is-that-will-end-soon. And a lovely weekend.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Welcome to the One True Faith, Lee. We're gaining converts daily. (And often, middle-of-the-nightly.)

After the big snow (4 ft, I think) I made a big sign that said "Didn't shovel it? Can't have it." If I can't stand there menacingly with a snow shovel, I'll try shame. Yes, obnoxious. But then, I also was the one who called to have au untagged car towed from my neighbor's handicapped space that we'd shovelled out for her. So maybe it balances out.

I've long since been a believer, but after waking up with a migraine at 2:00 this morning, and having to drag myself in to work this morning anyway, I think it's fair to say I have been born again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Snow reminds me yet again why I'm glad to be a renter with no car. I don't have to shovel anything!

Similar results can be achieved by living in LA, and you have the benefit of not risking frostbite to get places.

Similar results can be achieved by living in LA,

But not in your garage, since it seems to like trapping its residents.
