STOP SETTING SHIT ON FIRE!

So Chicago's basically a Big Ten campus after winning a NCAA championship? Minus the tear gas.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Trump wants to tear it down and put a skyscraper in its place. He probably set it himself.

It's in the process of being torn down now.

eta: Also, Wabash is the coolest street name ever.

I mean, that is probably the most unlikely pairing anyone could ever have come up with, ever.

Tammy Wynette and KLF recording "Justified and Ancient" together. IJS.

I have not yet visted our IKEA, despite having a $50 gift cert. to there, as it is insane and packed with crazed deal-seeking Minnesotans and Wisconsinites.

I spent Monday afternoon in Juliana's IKEA and can attest to the accuracy of her description.

If I only had a brain...

Dana, Jerry Orbach was the first El Gallo, I'm pretty sure.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, yeah, definitely. My parents have the OCR.

If I only had a brain...

Sniffle. All my heroes are dying. I got the Lost Treasures of Broadway DVD, and it has killer footage of Orbach doing "The Lullaby of Broadway" from 42nd Street.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I spent Monday afternoon in Juliana's IKEA

Dude, you are one brave soul. I would have come down and brought you a drink if I had known you were so close.

Betsy, you are correct: Orbach created the role of El Gallo in the off-Broadway milestone “The Fantasticks.”

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw him in 42nd Street, back in the day.

information libertarian

My parents have the OCR.

I read this as Optical Character Recognition and was mightily confused for a minute.
