Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sail! Was just thinking of you. How are you? (And gorgeous card, thank you)

Didja know that DG is all sloped so they don't get tsunamis? I didn't, but it was good news when I found out.

My uncle and uncle-in-law are in Thailand and were heading towards the site to see if they could help. Which is fantastic, but I can only worry about so many people at once.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

You know, it is odd how we have gotten this far into the thread and not remarked on how much it reminds us of Jesse.

Life is full of these little odd things.

Wait, Jesse is not a little odd thing. Tiltles are.

...Oh, I quit.

t smooches Jesse, while he still has a chance

Not quite sure what is meant by "all sloped," but no they don't get the kind of tsunamis where a huge towering wall of water goes crashing down on the island. What they get is being underwater by a couple of inches for a while and then it all drains off and they have a muddy mess to clean up. That's what happened the last time they had an 7.2 earthquake in the IO, back around '82. They made t-shirts for the island that said "Fun in the Sun or Shake and Bake." Fortunately, that was before my time.

And I'm great! Glad you liked the card. And, ditto with the tagline love. I laughed and I've gotta ask, who's Debbie?

I don't think I ever heard thunder while I was stationed in SD and I was there 5 years, for some pretty awesome winter storms. But very rarely lightning, much less thunder. I wish I could see it.

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

There should be a best tagline award of for every month or year or something.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Lee lives in a strange place, where water runs like ... liquid.

Maybe I should go back to smootching the girls.

t smooches SailAweigh, 'cuz I am a faithless bastid who will not wait for Jesse

t comes staggering out of the SailAweigh smooch, proclaiming that his triflin' ways are done

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Leaky mattress is no longer in my bedroom. At 7pm friend was still a no show and I spent 45 minutes moving it into the laundry room myself. Patience is definitely not one of my virtues. As soon as I got it completely in the laundry room, I went slasher-flick on it with a knife, only to discover the floor doesn't tilt towards the drain like it's supposed to. Oops. Laundry room is now water-logged, but the mattress is now over the drain. Hopefully I'll be able to haul it out to the garbage tomorrow. I discovered the wooden frame got wet from the leakage and decided I should wait for it to dry out before I make it support weight, so no setting up the new mattress tonight.

Now drinking a 7&7 because I feel I deserve it after the last 23 hours.
