Our wings are not tired.

I'm obsessing about my packing.

I've started making my list. And I did laundry. I'll pack hours, if not moments before departure.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I am, at this very moment, re-writing my list (don't ask; it's a really anal thing). Tonight is laundry. And if all goes well, I'll pack Wednesday night.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

tr, will you be riding on the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe?

Probably not, as I'm not coming all the way from Philadelphiay.

eta: Crap. This year I don't think my train has its own song....

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I've checked the weather forecast for SF and revising my packing. I'm so used to mid/late May being warm to hot and humid that what I'd planned on would be cooler than even I am comfortable with.

FYI, forecast shows mid- to upper 60s, maybe just into the 70s. Clear for most of the time with some cloudiness towards the Sunday/Monday.

tommyrot, I thought of you when I was visiting my sister - her neighbors have a white hairless cat. She gets sunburned easily. They've tried putting sunblock on her, but she licks it off.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Depends on the rail line, tr. The Union Pacific has its own movie.

Heh.

I've always heard that hairless cats should be strictly indoor cats. (Sunburn being one of the reasons.)

Ooh, Hank Williams had a song "California Zephyr," which is the name of the train I'm taking....

I should check iTunes....

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'm going to have to pack twice -- I get back from the F2F Tuesday morning, and then Friday afternoon I head out to Cincy for a family reunion. (E was all "You should just not unpack." Which would work, except I don't think I'll be bringing quite the same clothes...)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm doing laundry tonight, packing most of the stuff. My flight leaves at 6AM on Wed, which means that I have to leave my house at 4AM. Should I even bother going to bed, given my tendency to fool around the night before a trip?
