The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The silver is pretty too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The silver is pretty too.

Yeah. I guess I like the other colors because they're more unusual.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Pete! Your work was commented on nicely by Peter Straub:

He thought it was neat. So do I.

It was unusually warm in SF today. So mind the local weather reports while packing.

Does it get below 55° in May? (If not, I'm thinking short sleeves and shorts will work fine for me except for the swankier evenings.)

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Curse you permanently comfortable, working-internal-thermostat people! Curse you forever!

I am traveling to SF with a cashmere sweater and a leather jacket, and expect to wear both at once at least some of the time.

Sooo not me—I'd be permanently comfortable if I lived north of the 54°40' line. But I break a sweat when it gets above about 70°, which is maybe 9 solid months out of the year in Arkansas and Tennessee.

As soon as the sun goes down, you'll have some company, trust me.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Deb! I just looked at your pictures and had to do a double-take: Darren McKeeman was there? gothic.net used to be Darren's baby, and he's the person who suggested I write a gothic etiquette column, long long ago.

Our wings are not tired.

I might need mittens and ear muffs.

Yep - he was co-chair of the con, and wandered over for lamb and things.

Peter's actually got a link to gothic.net from his own website.
