move out and draw fire

Thanks, ND, but I think I'll just call and reserve a ticket when I get to the States this weekend. Their site seems to always be down in the times I can be online (which, since it's after midnight PST isn't a terrible surprise).

Argh. I thought I was done packing, but then there's all this Random Baby Stuff. I had accepted that I can no longer travel with just one carry-on, but one huge suitcase and two carryons should be enough, you'd think.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

They're at the same hotel? Anyway, I pretty sure what we've got will rock, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Good god. I ordered F2F swag on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and if UPS is to be believed, it's in Chicago and out for delivery as of this morning. (I used the second shipping option, ground, not the 2-day). Rock.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

They're at the same hotel?

Different branches. HICC is ours; HIGG (Golden Gateway) is the on on Van Ness.

I'd think it was by alphabetical order...except it's not.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is there still room there?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well, I did put in a request.

(Does a couple of phone calls, any number of IMs, and a sky-writer count as "a request"?)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I think they should teach Emiline the words "chopped liver" and tell her to call everyone that.
