Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Who is (or IS anyone) organizing/coordinating airport pickup/dropoff?

AFIK, deb is assembling a list. I suppose once we have it we can hook up with each other from there?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Suzi, I'm flying in/out of Oakland. Arrive Friday at 12:15, so I figure you might be at work. MUNI or BART can get me into the city, right?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Also - yay for Hec and JZ, further furthering the Zmayhem line!

Or something.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm not working Friday and I have a few buffista staying at my house Thursday night, so it depends on when they wanna get over to SF. We can play that by ear for now. But yes, there is a shuttle to BART which will get you there.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Teppy, I've got a list of pickups I'm doing: Laura (with Vortex, who is renting a car and adding me as a driver, because she is a darling), and Fay (while Vortex is getting her hair done for birthday revels), on Wednesday. Pete and Jilli, and Ginger and Bev (same flight) at SFO on Thursday, and I was going to ask Anne if she wanted a ride in, since she arrives within an hour of Pete and Jilli. SailAweigh Thursday night late in San Jose - that will probably be just Nic.

Do you need a lift in? The timing could be tricky, and it depends on if Vortex wants the car (all my personal pickups are dependent on that, needless to say). But I can try for it.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Every time a Buffista laces up their corset, a Prom Fairy gets their wings.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Deb, I don't need *you,* specifically, to pick me up -- you're already going to be SO busy -- though I'm always happy to see you and Ripper.

I was just thinking if there were people coming in at around the same time as me, we could carpool/vanpool/shuttlepool.

move out and draw fire

Sean, we'll be renting a car to go to the Winchester House Saturday morning, so space permitting we could figure out a way to pick you guys up afterwards and bring you to SF.

I say, blithely volunteering the time and patience of Laura and whoever else is in the rental car....

Brenda, Sail gets in at 10:55. You'd have a three-hour wait. Reason we need to pick Sail up is because the last train from Santa Clara Caltrain - there's a free shuttle from San Jose to the train station, and then it costs about five bucks to go into San Francisco - leaves at something like 10:35 pm.
