And almost sixty-five percent of that was actual compliment. Is that a personal best?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

When is this taking place?

Nothing's ever been formally decided, but Saturday midday most likely. Options are Haight Street, eventually working our way down and either bussing or driving to Hayes Valley and ending up at Dark Garden (possibly with post-corsetry nibbles at Citizen Cake or cocktails at Absinthe), or Valencia Street (including the pirate supply store), again eventually hopping across Market to Dark Garden.

Haight Street is close to both Chez Zmayhem and Grabien, has plenty of thrifty thrift, fun trashy lingerie shops, a discount fabric shop, some fancy boho chic clothes, and two high-end museum-quality gorgeous vintage emporia. Valencia Street has plenty of thrifty thrift, some fun trash, no high-end vintage, a hairless cat, a wonderful hat store, Good Vibrations (with the vintage vibrator museum) and pirates.

In both areas, some places are open by ten, most open at eleven, and everything's going full-steam by 12. I'm up for whatever the majority preference is.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

IME, it's better to do dim sum on weekends (when they're busy), because otherwise you risk the same food going around on the carts for hours on end.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Has anyone started a "who is arriving when and where" schedule?

If not, I'll be happy to do so.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Steph - did you get the e-mail I sent you regarding baseball?

Yes -- but now I can't remember -- did I need to give you info and/or $$?

Jess, when you say dim sum for "breakfast," do you mean the meal one eats when first arising?

Dim sum is brunch, yes.

Dim sum is brunch, yes.

Duh, I just looked back, and you didn't say "breakfast;" just "Saturday morning."

I want dim sum, but it's more likely I'll sleep until thrift-store time and grab a sandwich on the way. Too many group activities makes Teppy a harridan, as some of you have witnessed.

I think Deb has a listing of this. She was collecting emails from people with their airlines, times, etc.

Well fine then. You are set for baseball. I just had some other questions in the e-mail. No biggie.
