F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Hey guys, what started out as Nicole coming to show me my first ever wild animal park has somehow become a mini-F2F.

There are a handful of lovely buffistas descending on me during the week of April 10-17th. There will be car rentals! and a hotel of some sort! and a trip to the safari park! Probably also soap and/or bath bomb making, a wander through the "emerald necklace", Cleveland's metropark system, wading in lake Erie (depending on the safety levels), and more! I'm also hoping to schedule a reading/signing for Deb one of those weekends so I can twist her arm and get her to come too. I know it's very close to the regular F2F and I'm sorry about that. It just happened that way due to the safari park schedule. However, if you think you could make both, or you could never make the F2F but you might be able to swing a trip to Cleveland, you're more than welcome to join us.

If you can't afford the hotel (and I'm sure sharing can be arranged), and you're not allergic to cats, babies, bad rock music, or the cigarette smoke that occasionally wafts its way up from the basement, you're welcome to floor space at my house.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

(following Deena into thread briefly)

Schedule something for me and I'm totally there for a few days. Especially true since I'm 99% sure I'm not doing NOLA.

Wow, I will be really disappointed if I don't see you this year, Deb.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Since I can't do NOLA this year, I'm going to try and make it to the mini. Finances are the question, but I'm working on it.

I'm torn. I'm 98% sure I won't be going to NOLA, so I was already planning a midwest trip that would include Chicago and maybe Denver and hopefully coincide with SA's spring break. I can't swing both, though, and I am pretty sure the earlier trip works out better for me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ok, I'm going to have to add this to my schedule. At least over the weekend. Yay!

Denver? Huh. I've never been to Denver before.

We can use my car for all the Illinois/Ohio driving.

SA, if I can make Denver, it would have to be by flying there, and then Chicago. There's no way I could do it driving.

The timing for Deena's F2F is perfect for me, because I get back in time to see my beloved Kristin, who will be staying with me the following weekend (21 April).

Bouncing now.
