Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Dim sum, yum. And if it means a little early (or not so early) wandering of interesting streets, all the better.

Sounds yummy to me Jessica, and while I'm a local, I'm not local enough to make a recommendation. Though if no one speaks up, I can do some poking around.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Jessica, I would be interested in that, for sure, and probably Tom too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Here is the Slashfood article that gave me the idea -- Yank Sing is the one reviewed, and I checked their website and they do have carts.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I too have the fear wrt committing myself to going to anything - but dim sum sounds fabulous. And so does the haunted house, actually. Provided it doesn't clash with other stuff. Does it class with other stuff? I ought to make a table, or something, probably, so I can keep track of What's Happening When.

Dim sum on Saturday would clash with Winchester House, unfortunately. I don't know what else is happening that day, other than Prom. (Baseball/B2B/BBQ is all Sunday, right?)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dim sum might also clash with the reading Jilli and Pete are planning. (I thought you were as well, Fay?)

Also up for Saturday, but in the afternoon, is a vid show with Laura Shapiro.

Fay, since the departure for the Winchester House is really early, it clashes with the only time we pencilled in to do the Pooh & Wolves reading. I'd say move the reading but frankly, I do not know when else would work.

And when it starts to get like this; a little frustrating because there's so much juggling going on, I have to stop and remind myself that the most important thing is to have fun, and not burden oneself with masses of planning (unless you're Deb!).

So, we'll see where it all lands, but those of you who want to read, don't forget the books! I have no idea how many copies of Pooh we'll need.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing some of the vids (none of the BSG though as I haven't been able t watch the series and don't want to be spoiled for the Season 1 box I just bought).

I wonder if there's a way to do the reading and then roll into the vids... hmm, maybe not. Isn't Saturday afternoon also the big thrifting expedition?
