Our wings are not tired

So, I think we need to set a time for reading. Would it be a good idea to do it as a breakfast thing on Saturday? Friday morn is too soon as many may miss it, Sunday morn people will be too tired or busy saying their goodbyes to the first wave of departing Buffistas.

Hmmm, I've been planning to record this, but at the moment I'm also planning to leave reasonably early on Saturday morning so as to hit Winchester House and be back by mid afternoon. I was thinking of having breakfast at 8 AM and being on the road to Winchester house by 8:45, 9 AM at the latest. I know there are a few folks planning to go along on this as well.

Amyliz, Kristin, Matt...um, who else am I forgetting?

Spidra, what everyone else has said about the F2Fs. You will come (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), you will see, you will conquer. I haven't been to any of the annual F2Fs yet, but I made it out to SF for the NillyTour two years ago having never met any of the Buffistas. I felt like part of the crowd as soon as Deb met me at the airport. People I hadn't even seen pictures of were happy to meet me and it was all good. It's a guaranteed good time.

I didn't know the NillyTour stopped here! Bummer that I was stupidly away from Phoenix for so long. Okay, I will put on my brave face for the F2F. Which will hopefully give way very soon to party face.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The darling Laura Holt sent me a Cafe Press coupon but, alas, I could not use it because I did not order enough stuff. But I wanted to announce publically her darlingness.

I now have five coupons. Let me know if you wnat one.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

snarl. My workload has become such that I have three major projects which have to be done in the same time period. None can be postponed. None can be contracted out, or at least my employer is unwilling to pay to have someone else do it. My boss is asking me to work late just about every weekday and weekends, and his boss is looking at having me cancel my time off for the F2F. I'm resisting - and the fact that I have a non-refundable plane ticket gives me some leverage ... as well as the huge amount of vacation time I have carried over from last year that they wouldn't let me take then.

Some ~ma, please. Both for being able to get to SF and for not killing anyone to make it happen.

Time off~ma, Toddson! Also, a minor smiting to your stoopid employers who don't understand the all work and no play makes Toddson a dull and stodgy employee.
