I'm getting the pig!

I don't know what you mean, Nicole.

I *knew* you'd edit to make me look crazy(ier). Then again, it doesn't take much, really.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Thanks, Deb. Honestly, I am a fangirl and geek. I've attended cons. But I haven't hit many boards except for the Phoenix. And I've never read much fanfic so some of the terms are new to me.

Always Anti-fascist!

And because I'd feel remiss if I didn't, with y'all together, I've gotta ask "What ho, Jeeves?" It's a thing.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

OK. Despite this being a trucky suckallacious Monday that includes a dead computer monitor which I can't replace until Friday at the earliest, I did at least manage to get my meeting with Lilibeth and Eva set up: next Tuesday. So we'll finalise everything - that gives everyone a week to think of stuff you might want to know, or last-minute issues, etc.

Well, you know I'd hate to disappoint.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

...our flag has a skull and crossbones and a nice top hat. Our ship is black, the sails are a delicate shade of pink, and everybody is wearing magnificent black leather boots and/or pointy footwear. Corsets and bloomers are very popular among the crew. We eschew grog in favour of nice cups of tea. We are arguably the most courteous pirates to be found on the high seas. I go under the name Dread Pirate Clovis, but in point of fact I am not the real Dread Pirate Clovis.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

A quick note to anyone thinking of getting F2F swag; don't leave it much longer. Once you factor in production and shipping things will get very tight in the next week or so. Also, the black tees take longer to produce.

FYI.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Welcome aboard, Mate Juliana! You have precisely the combination of skills base and wardrobe that we look for!

...is there any way that I'd be able to get somebody to place a very modest F2F swag order for me, which I could pay for in person? Because I'm not with the credit card having. (Similarly I'll be making my prom/hospitality suite contribution in person.)

See. I told you we were very courteous pirates.

(And I know I owe somebody money for the cookbook, now I come to think of it, which my parents inform me did arrive, although they'd forgotten to mention it until now.)

Fay, I'm getting ready to place an order for F2F swag, and I'd be happy to order stuff for you as well. You can e-mail me your wish list.

Is it serial if it's 10 hours or so later?

Anyway, when I order from CafePress they'll offer me $5 coupons for friends, as they do. Who wants 'em?
