I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jess, that works, though so does playing it by ear, if you would rather do that.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. I'm making a list and checking twice. And I am so not finalising it until we're closer.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Excellent, Steph.

Brenda, did I remember to let you know that Deena and I wouldn't need to take up room space on Sunday night? I hope I did but I can't recall now.

Yup, you did.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm not sure, but I think my crash space will be available on Sunday, too. smonster? What's your schedule like?

And I'd put us more like 50-55 at Prom - things always come up. However, I'm also a pessimist at times.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

And what's our rough goal?

juliana, thing about that is, the numbers should always be for a percentage higher on catering than the hard number. It's always better to have a bit too much nosh than to run out of it.

So sixty is where I'm looking at the moment.

How are we for fundage at the moment? Counting my $130 or whatever it was? (edit: beat me to it.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So we've got the Prom covered, and just need to pay for the suite? Nice!

It might be worth posting a $$ update in Press, just as a reminder to people who were putting donating off and don't realize how close we are.

(Like, I just this weekend started looking at 10k training programs. All of which are at least 10 weeks long. Oops...at least I can walk it!)

And what's our rough goal?

$2500, plus whatever taxes the hotel and SF slaps on the bill.

(That total includes the last night of the hospitality suite, because my fundage update includes the $$$ Drew sent to cover said night.)

so, about $900 down from making the ends meet?
