And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Random throught of the morning -- Cafepress should offer shot glasses.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

OMG, I really have no notion how to plan what all I should see and do while in SF. I am aware that SF is Big and Cool and Full of Stuff, but I haven't a clue what is where, or what I should go and see

Fay is me. except for that whole baseball thing which I couldn't give a toss about. Oh, and I know that SF public transport is pretty good.

Anyway, yeah, still mulling over the possibilities. Alcatraz - most probably. Sunday BBQ - Yup. Accompanying Jilli on her thrifting - probably. Winchester - Nope (Jilli's very psychically sensitive and that place may be just a tad too intense).

Things to do; send money to Juliana, then actually remember to buy some F2F swag. Crikey, I think it's only 3.5 weeks til we'll be heading to SF...

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd like to sign on for the Winchester House excursion.

Also, do we have a firm enough headcount yet to figure what the average prom/hospitality suite contribution should be per person?

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

And Pete is almost entirely me.

Except I have some slight fear of public transport (born and raised in San Diego - crappy public transport capital of the West). So people will be able to tell us apart.

Anyway, glad to see other people who are planning itineraries similar to mine. Not so afraid of getting lost in a strange city if I have someone to do it with! (And I managed pretty well in NYC. Well, with the help of Felix the Bellman's directions.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm doing Alcatraz and the BBQ (insent, Deb), but other than that, I think I'll try to play it by ear. I'm more a wander-around-exploring than an actual do-things kind of person anyway.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Errrr, yeah, that reminds me -- would anyone be able to put me up Sunday night? I can sleep on a floor, in a bathtub -- wherever.

I have a spare bed Sunday night. (Hotel room bed, though, not house space, which might be what you're looking for?)
