I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm also distinctly nervous about people being all "...what? THIS is Fay? This is it? Huh. That accent is totally phony, and as for the knockers, come ON, do you think we were born yesterday? ...why is she wearing sequins?" So - performance anxiety, a tiny teeny bit.

Uh, Fay. You DO know you're a fucking ROCK STAR among the Buffistas, right? And that everyone will be getting in fist fights over who gets to stand next to you? Do you not even remember the LA F2F?

t edit Or, what David (aka Fay's Biggest Fanboy) said.

is there going to be a SingAlongaOnceMoreWithFeeling? I know some folks hate that kind of thing, and respect that stance, but it really does float my boat.

As one of the haters (what can I say? I'm a punk), I'm more than happy to let you musical nutters harmonize all you want, whilst I nap/socialize with the other haters/drink beer/whatever. I respect your right to be a musical nutter, luv.

as long as I can get you to say "I'm will fuck your shit up, (pause) yo.", I'll be happy.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Should be getting into San Francisco CA at 11.55am on May 17th (having travelled back in time), and leaving on Monday May 22nd at 10.44 for Seattle. Where I'm hoping to impose upon Jeeves. (Heh. This is a portmanteau I could really grow to like...) Then heading back to the Middle East on the 24th, insh'allah.

No imposition. Looking forward to having you... here.

Anyway, if the flights aren't booked yet and you have other options, try to get a flight to Seattle closer to 12.45 which is when we're heading out. Otherwise you'll have a 2 hour wait before we get there and Seattle's airport is a boring place to be for 2 hours.

Edit: though I realize the 10:44 could be a pm flight, but that seems unlikely.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

juliana, is there a chance that you and amyth and smonster would have extra space in your hotel room on Prom night, or are you full up already?

I'm sure we could squeeze another cutie in!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Should be getting into San Francisco CA at 11.55am on May 17th

Airline? I'll be picking you up; I'll need to know which airline, international terminal or domestic (as in, is this nonstop from there to here, or do you clear customs at a stop along the way), etc.

Man, I get Fay AND AmyLiz. How cool is that....?

Amy - Apr 20, 2006 10:24:24 am PDT #8539 of 10001
Because books.

I am a bit giddy that I get to room with Deb and Fay, myself. Wheee!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Pfft. Fay is one of the least-disappointing-to-meet-in-person people ever.

Uh, Fay. You DO know you're a fucking ROCK STAR among the Buffistas, right? And that everyone will be getting in fist fights over who gets to stand next to you?

gulps

See, this kind of advertising is hard to live up to, and makes my inner-Brave-Sir-Robin think “Run Away! Run Away!” But I figure that hard likker will probably counteract this. Hopefully.

Do you not even remember the LA F2F?
…see, I remember hiding during most of the prom, because I had a mighty attack of shyness and feeling fat and gauche and otherwise disappointing, and OMGEveryoneWillHateMe. But then I also remember the Kitchen of Porn, so I guess I got over that.

As one of the haters (what can I say? I'm a punk)

Yes, I was thinking of you as I typed the question, actually.

as long as I can get you to say "I'm will fuck your shit up, (pause) yo.", I'll be happy.

I think I can manage this.

No imposition. Looking forward to having you... here.

…oh my lord. It’s going to be like a Carry On film, isn’t it? Carry On Porning, maybe, or Carry on Staking. Or Carry on Bitching…

Anyway, if the flights aren't booked yet and you have other options, try to get a flight to Seattle closer to 12.45 which is when we're heading out. Otherwise you'll have a 2 hour wait before we get there and Seattle's airport is a boring place to be for 2 hours.
Right you are – I’ll check it out with my travel agency when I go with the dough – but I’ll be quite fine sitting in the airport for a couple of hours. After 13 hours in Warsaw train station waiting for a train that never came, with no Polish money to get me into the loo, insufficient British money to pay for a hotel, no friends within many hundreds of miles and dodgy mad tramps trying to win my hand (or some other part of my anatomy) 2 hours will be a breeze. I bet they probably have a coffee shop. Or at least a Coke machine. Or people who speak English.

eta

(Deb, I promise I'll send you the proper details in full once I've physically bought the ticket, but this was to give you an idea of what I think it should look like, timingwise.)

Well, yeah, it ain't Purgatory but if you manage a closer time you can hang out with us at the airport before departure which will make the time fly all the faster.

Yup, I am hogging the Fay time. Sue me.
