It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

::loves haggis::

s'okay, bebe. I not only back away from haggis crossing myself, I don't eat sushi, either.

I can't even.

generously - if rather too quickly - handing Jessica any and all haggis I have ever been, am now, or ever would be invited or expected to eat, in perpetuity

See, even that much haggis isn't too much.

I really don't see how haggis is any freakier than sausage.

Which is also delicious.

I've never had it. I'll try it if the opportunity presents itself.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Haggis tastes more of organ meats than most sausages, which isn't really my favorite flavor. But it's not nasty, like one would reasonably assume. (Of course, it's possible I'm the only person in the world who gives haggis an "eh", since everyone else seems to be Whoooo or Ewwwww about it.)

It could be my offal objection is texture rather than flavor and that's why I liked the haggis.

brenda, it's the smell. I can't get past the smell. It smells like -well, like steamed innards.

I like patĂȘ. I do a wicked sauteed chicken liver with mushroom and spinach in roasted garlic sauce. I can even eat steak and kidney pie, if it's properly done.

But I can't do haggis. It just smells - wrong.

So very very wrong.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

It's funny, because I'm very easily squicked by meat in general, but haggis totally isn't squicky. To me, it's like minced meat, but actually less squicky. And spicier and more oaty. And generally a surprisingly yummy (for me) thing. I also like sushi, and was startled to discover that eel sushi is very much yummier than I would have supposed.

move out and draw fire

Eel sushi is da bomb.

But I tend to like smoked sushi in general. Not a huge fan of the raw stuff. And MAYONAISSE DOES NOT BELONG ON SUSHI.

deb, I wanted to make the chicken liver recipe you submitted to the cookbook, but alas. No chicken livers, no Marsala. Some days the butcher has beef liver, but never chicken. What's up with that?

bounce bounce bounce

My F2F swag arrived today!!!

Wordy McWord.

...so, assuming that the gods smile upon me and I get to come to the F2F, is there any way that I might be able to get hold of vids-on-disk? 'Cause I'm on dialup, and although I have a number of vids, it does take most of eternity to download them.

Just a random thought. Not important. Just wondering, as watching-the-vids is something I'm very excited about.
