I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Our wings are not tired.

Whee! I received my Alcatraz ticket in the mail.

While I enjoy seeing all the pretty corsets, I have no interest in owning one. Also, Toddson's dress last year was stunning. It should be worn as often as you can find occasion.

Hec, the exhibit sounds fantastic. I think Tom and I will try to make our way over there during our time in the area.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

You and the corset top dress looked stunning together, Toddson. And I say that having only seen pictures; in person, your majesty must have been practically blinding.

I want a new corset, but I know I can't afford Dark Garden.

Well, yeah, there's that. Though you could at least try one on and find out what size and style suit you best, for future reference.

Also too fat.

@@ Aside from the part where you're NOT FAT, let me assure you that backstage at the Dickens Fair I've seen women so large that four brendas strapped together would barely make one of them, and they had all found corsets that fit, and they all looked stunning. The essence of the corset isn't about any one specific size; as long as you have a faint suggestion of boobs and a faint suggestion of hips, the corset will do the rest and make an erotic demigoddess of you.

ION, the Arts and Crafts exhibit truly is stunning. And exactly in between Chez Zmayhem and deb's place, and, should the thrifting expedition take place on Haight Street rather than Valencia, conveniently located just a few blocks from either the beginning or the end. Just sayin', is all.

Ooh, interesting! I was thinking vaguely that the best day for Tom & I to go would be Friday, because Tom won't need to be in sessions all day, and our friends from Sacramento won't be down till Saturday. (we will need to time share between the Buffistas and our non-ista friends- but we will be Promming! And also in the Hotel in general)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

as long as you have a faint suggestion of boobs

Well, I've got that at least.

Nah, my main issue is that I am fatter than I like to be at the moment, and trying to get back on the wagon to change that. So I don't want to invest in something that (hopefully) won't fit for very long.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

my prom dress (from last year) has a corset top and all (well, most) of me got into it

And all the right bits didn't.

I teased? Doh! Sorry about that. I was hoping I would be able to come, and was trying to stay low-key so nothing would mess it up, then money started to look bad, then better, then bam, Scotland. I haven't been over there in a really long time.

I'm unhappy to be missing out on the SF2F, and the opportunity to meet you and other west coastistas, and hang with the folks I've met before. San Francisco is a great city and I had a lovely time with the SFistas I got to see when I was in town last summer. I need more California time. Must fix that.
