So, it's official. I'm pretty much not going to be able to make it. Mostly due to work. Not that they're going to have me work that weekend or anything, in fact, they're letting me go at the end of April, so I just won't have the cash. Plus I got socked with a $1,200 tax bill this weekend, and I was only able to send them $200, so I have to work out a payment plan with them, and probably send them most of my money for the next few months, provided I can make any at all.
There's a small possibility I can come, *if* ND and Kristin can find it in their hearts (and car space) to let me drive up with them, but I will still likely have no money to pay for things like food or fun, let alone my share of prom, so I'm not sure it will be worth it.
This really bums me out. I haven't seen many of you in a while, and frankly, I'm missing y'all.

Damnit. I was really looking forward to seeing you, and meeting S.
Yeah, I really wanted her to meet all of you, as well. We're both pretty bummed about it.
Is there a good reason not to put the F2F on a credit card and go horribly into debt for the sake of a single weekend? REALLY???

I guess it depends on whether the credit card's theirs or yours.
F2F's on Jess this year!

Lack of ownership of credit cards.
Something that makes it tougher and tougher to just make our way through life every day.
Step 1: Apply for credit card
Step 2: Attend F2F
Step 3: Profit!
Step 3: Profit!
Does this involve sleeping with your stepmother? Because that price might be a bit high.
I'm pretty sure step 2.5 involved the underpants gnomes, and it's usuall y best not to ask about the details.
