Yep. I'm flying from Midway to Oakland (on Southwest) for $245 roundtrip.

I saw that and even considered it for a brief moment, but I'm staying Monday night with Perkins and there's no way it would be easy for me to get to Oakland on Tuesday without extreme hassle (and the damn train ride under the Bay, nuh and uh) and inconvenience. As I said, I am all about comfort, for me and those around me. SFO is a better option for me, phobia-wise and logistically. I'm willing to pay the extra $50 to fly MSN to SFO.

hmmm ... I got my round trip (DCA to SFO) for a little over $200, but I booked a good while ago.

Um, so I have a stupid question--what's the deal with paying for Prom? And apparently I just obtained 2 guests...

So, who all do I throw money at for this, and when and how much?

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

'suela, juliana is holding the bank for the prom; she gets al the dough. Ping her - she'll fill you in.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So, who all do I throw money at for this, and when and how much?

Who: Me, either via PayPal (profile addy good), Wells Fargo account transfer, or check.

When: Any time within the next 4 weeks or so.

How much: Up to you. I haven't done a breakdown of the numbers yet, but we're looking at $1500 food/drink minimum for Prom, and I misremember how much we're paying for the hospitality suite.

I'll do a full financial report after I'm done wrestling my taxes into submission (announcement: divorce sucks).

juliana, the hospitality suite is $250 a night; we need to cover three nights because ND is covering Sunday night himself.

There's also no audio-video charges anywhere; the hotel is fine with us providing our own DVD player for the suite. and our own PA for Prom.

So total hotel bill is $2250? Correct?

We have approximately $1000 in the kitty right now.

And that's without tax.
