I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Has anyone seen my flask?

I'll check my cleavage, you may have dropped it.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

OK, it looks as if the majority want 9-1 for the open bar - let me check with Lilibeth and make sure the timeframe doesn't conflict with any hotel or city rules; they may only allow it until midnight or half-past, but let me ask her.

Also, I'll give it until tomorrow morning and see if anyone has a problem with the proposed catering menu.

Sound good?

Um, coming by late now that I'm sure I can spare a couple of vacation days -- what time is proposed for the Aquarium visit on the Monday? Is it the famed Monterey one that I've never been able to go to? Am I correct in thinking that it's somewhere down to the south so that being dropped off at the San Jose or SF airport in the evenng for a flight home would be possible?

Theodosia, yes, it is the one in Monterey, which is about 100 miles south of SF.

Driving everyone down there may prove tricky, since so far I am the only local going, and I can only fit two people in my car, but I am sure we can work it out. As long as the flight is after about 8:00, I think it can be worked out.

eta: The place opens at 10:00. We need to think about if we want to be there when it opens, which would put us in the middle of rush hour, or not.

WHEEE! Theo!

The Aquarium is indeed the Monterey Bay, and yes to all of the above.

I have a driving map and reminder at post 8120

Perkins, you're the only local going? I definitely didn't realise that - I thought Suzi was going, as well?

She may have other stuff going on. In any case, hopefully we can work it out.

Oooooh. I've also not had a whole lot of opportunity to go driving around in that area (aside from a nice state park in San Jose-area with sf-marty!) so the ride would be enjoyment in itself.

(Also, IIRC, you have a really nice car!)

I just marked the post, Deb!

(Not that the rules of Shotgun allow it this far in advance, but I'd happily claim Shotgun for any ride with Perkins.)
