Are you ready to be strong?

I AM SO JEALOUS THAT ERINACEOUS GOT TO MEET EMMETT OMG.

I am sure about the string quartet, because Mozart's string quartets make me weep, and I want beautiful, heartbreaking music when I marry the love of my life. And for dinner I think Bach would be nice.

Though a theremin rendition of the Buffy/Angel theme would lend a certain drama to the proceedings.

I'm not at work. Just got home from same.

sigh

I wish I could find a job that was fulfilling but wouldn't take up ALL my time. Is that too much to ask?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And...the funk thrash metal won't work for the this? Have you really thought this through?

And for dinner I think Bach would be nice.

Okay, well that I can see.

I wish I could find a job that was fulfilling but wouldn't take up ALL my time. Is that too much to ask?

I hear they have such jobs in other cities.

Are you ready to be strong?

Yeah, hence the other-city-moving-to. I just wish we didn't hafta. There are so many things about my life here that I love, if only I had time to enjoy them.

Thanks for letting me squee about the wedding, by the way. I was talking about it an another board I sometimes post on, which will go unnamed, and someone I consider a friend yelled at me for making her feel bad about being single.

Hmph. Well I now consider them an ENEMY. HA! I yell at at this "friend" like this: "Do NOT fuck with the Rio's Happy Fun Wedding Buzz. You are harshing her mellow."

Are you ready to be strong?

U = BEST

I feel bad about it, though. I don't want to be one of those people who go on and on about Their Special Day and don't think about anything else for a interminably long time.

I DO THINK ABOUT OTHER STUFF, OK?

Like, um, well, Buffy. And also my stupid job. And clothes! Also hair. SO THERE SO-CALLED FRIEND.

Oh no no! You are not allowed to feel bad about this. You are not a bridezilla. JZ gave me the test for bridezillas, which is: makes all the brides maids wear colored contacts so they coordinate their eyes with the dresses with the flowers.

No. You are excited and happy about a happy and exciting thing, and your alleged friend was being a neurotic cow and being selfish.

That is my ruling on the matter.

Also, you will undoubtedly take cuteness to the realm of Ultra Mega Cute on your wedding day. I am very excited for you.

Now, though, I think maybe you should go to sleep.

Are you ready to be strong?

A cow-irker of mine told me that her sister gave her bridesmaids a narrow range of colors with which they could get manicures for the wedding. Anything short of that I think is non-Bridezilla territory. Though I may up the standard to the colored-contacts rule.

Thank you for your ruling and for this:

Now, though, I think maybe you should go to sleep.

I will obey!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Saget? A nickname? Or am I being truly dense?

Rio, we can squee about wedding planning together! Ours is October 1. I may expire from the stress way beforehand though...

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Jumping in the thread discussion...

I dislike flying, and would rather drive if I had the time. So I'm leaning towards driving to NO in The Comfy Car, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to take enough time off work for that....

Tom, I'd do it with you. I wanted to drive, but I didn't think I could do it all on my own.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Also, theremin players add a certain eerie charm to the event.

That's what I told her!

Though a theremin rendition of the Buffy/Angel theme would lend a certain drama to the proceedings.

I work cheap. IJS.

Saget? A nickname? Or am I being truly dense?
