Let me count the ways.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Reminds me, I'll need to stock the hospitality suite with some liquid refreshment for people. My feeling is not so much with the hard liquor, but a couple of bottles each of good white, red and bubbly.

Memo to self, ask hotel housekeeping for corkscrew.

Our wings are not tired

I'll bring up some good scotch. I've got a shelf of it that I'm never gonna drink on my own, besides, sharing makes all single malt better. Kristin says she has a few bottles of wine that she'll bring up.

We get in Thursday night, so we can also help set up if you'd like the extra set of hands.

I'll be in Wednesday afternoon and around to help Thursday too.

move out and draw fire

If I were to ever get a tattoo, Pete's swirly bat design is what I'd want.

I'm much more likely to hang with Vortex and do something to my hair, though.

(We were sitting in a kafenio last week and a young woman walked by with a long mane of black hair. The sides of her head were shaved and dyed bright pink. R looked at me and said, "No.")

Since I won't have Mal to drag on the B2B, I am probably wussing out of that...food prep at deb's? What needs doing?

ND, if you can hook up the electronics in the hospitality suite - the DVD player - that would be superb.

The anal-retentive caterer in me wants to bring up my professional buffet supplies: glass plates and wineglasses, silverware.

The part with the brain is saying, bitch, neither you nor anyone else wants to spend that weekend washing dishes. Chinet paper plates and disposable cutlery/plastic glasses, all the way.

Right?

Raq, the BBQ prep at my place tends to be more about hosing down the patio furniture and wiping it dry, carrying supplies out of doors, that kind of thing.

This is the way to go Deb. If we can't deal with drinking from plastic (which I totally understand) we can bring a glass from our rooms to sip from. Although they always use the plastic wine glasses when we have our monthly wine and jazz thing here and they are fun.

Laura, yep. Maybe I'll compromise and hit Costco for those snap together plastic wineglasses.

I'm thinking I'll post the final Prom catering menu suggestion up tomorrow morning, and give people a day or two to yea or nay before I pass it on ti Lilibeth. That work for people?
