I actually not as worried about finding a deal as I am about a decent hotel. Local One will be paying for it.

They were renovating at the time, but it was fine. Convenient for the event we were attending. I don't really remember anything specific because it was a long time ago, but if it was a rotten experience I would likely remember. Sorry for the vague.

I have always wanted to stay here at the Library Hotel ( [link] ) and would have for my birthday trip, but there was a minimum night requirement. Since I am only going in for one night, I didn't qualify.
I will be uber-jealous if you stay there.

Hmmm, I might have to look into staying at The Library. Even if they don't want to pay the full rate I may come up with the extra.
I checked and it's only $229 a night so I might be able to swing that.
