Motown
Shake Me, Wake Me, by the Four Tops. Woot!
Psychedelia
Covered by the Stones, She's A Rainbow. Anything from Satanic Majesty's Request fits that particular bill.
Classic Bollywood
Musically? I have no clue what that is.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

I'm pretty easy as far as food goes, so I imagine anything other than 8 trays of jalapeño poppers will be fine with me. I'll just list a set of probable favorites with the caveat that making sure we have plenty of suitable fare for vegetarians is my only real concern:
Spanakopita $140.00
Assorted Quiche $130.00
Fried Prawns with Lemon and Cocktail Sauce $180.00
Domestic Cheese Board with Sliced Fresh Fruit $100.00
Domestic Cheese Board Served with variety of Breads and Crackers $125.00
Antipasto Tray with Artichokes, Olives, Salami, Pepperoncini, Roasted Peppers, Bread Sticks and Mozzarella Cheese $125.00
Assorted Aram Sandwiches $140.00
Much as I love California rolls, sushi, like revenge, is a dish best served cold. I'm not overly confident of its suitability as a finger food that may need to be out on a buffet for several hours.
Music-wise, I'd personally like to hear Shannon's "Let the Music Play" and "Train in Vain" by the Clash. Also, Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll" has been the song most likely to get everyone dancing at the bulk of parties I've attended.

I knew what Bollywood is. I didn't realise there was a "classic Bollywood music" category, however.
Then again, my tastes are woefully uneclectic these days.
I just want my classic rock and then y'all can dance to whatever. Alternately, I'll just be over in the courtyard, with my iPod turned up high.
Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll"
Heh. Having just started the fourth book in a series, the first of which is called "Rock & Roll Never Forgets", I'm all over the Seger thang.
edit: OH! And mustn't forget BNL. I'm thinking either "Alcohol" or "Brian Wilson", but I may be missing something obvious.

Well, the songs from the old era do have a very different sound from the songs today. Just like American music. For instance, far fewer awkward insertions of English.
Musically? I have no clue what that is.
Can't go wrong with "Jaan Pehchaan Ho". Nor "O Hasina Zulfonwali" or "Ek Sawal Hai".
As far as recent stuff "Maahi Ve Maahi Ve" or "Radha Kaise Na Jale" (the latter of which could be waltzed to because it's in that kind of 6/8).

For my brother, it's Amii Stewart's "Knock On Wood". I cannot say he's wrong.
That is a great one.
I'm good with a music mix that doesn't ignore any of the decades. Since I noticed music in the 60's rock will always be my first love. And yet I still can enjoy a bit of Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It and a whole lot that came in between.
I'm thinking I might not be sitting a whole lot.
