Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I am so glad that the poeple who are going to be able to make the F2F are able to. There's still so many folks coming that I haven't met yet that I'm looking forward to muchly. ::kermit waves to AmyLiz and others:: Like Bev, I'd love to meet more, but I figure that's why we switch coasts and stuff every year. Plus, I think we should suggest a constitutional amendment that no colleges may have their graduation during our F2F.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I love reading all the plans even though I'm sad I won't make it. Next year I have 2 weeks vacation so I won't have to choose between Mardi Gras and F2F.

Yep. I'm getting a work visa, and I'm going to work all summer to save money and just go. Then I get six months in Britain after that. It's what's keeping me going.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. I was kind of poking fun at the typo.

Still impressive though.

::finally gets it:: Well, green, orange, and white do look good on me.

(That's totally untrue about orange.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Woohoo!
