Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Bev, my Paul/Plei thing is because I called Seattle lucky.

I'm still pissy over Erin's graduation and Jon's niece's wedding and SA graduating and things, damn it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh Seattle is lucky, no doubt about that. But this is yet another time I, personally, since it's all about me, am thwarted in meeting most of these folks, and although I did meet Jon in DC, I've not met his lovely FAQwife.

Not that I'm not over the moon about seeing my beloved SFistas again, plus those from Florida, Georgia, Ohio, all over the east and midwest whom I've met before, and meeting juliana, Jilli, Pete, Fay, and still more others for the first time. I'm greedy, greedy, greedy. I want ALL my peeps. In one place at the same time. As I say, greedy.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

and SA graduating

SA (who is slounging on my couch next to me as I type) is also sad. Not, of course, sad about graduating and getting the hell out of Berea, but sad that graduation conflicts with the F2F.

Speaking for myself (Steph), the bitterness emanating from her is almost making the paint peel off my walls. It's scary, yo.

You can always cheer her up with a nice memory, Steph. Three words: Neil. Gaiman. Sushi.

SA says that when you posted about that in her LJ, she went to bed with a big stupid grin on her face because you reminded her of that, and she says thank you, love.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Who I love! And was just talking about last night. I cannot WAIT to get back into Britain and see her.

I cannot WAIT to get back into Britain and see her.

We're hoping for September; it would only be a couple of days in London, but we have the family flat in Bromley, about twenty minutes south of London down in Kent, and I want to cook her dinner.

On topic, I've sent Lilibeth at the HICC a request for the menu in non-PDF format, ta ever so, because I do NOT wish to retype everything here.
