Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Katie, you're just driving in for Prom, yes? Not staying at the hotel?

Herding cats for fun

Well, I might bunk with Beverly for a PJ party night; which exact night has yet to be determined.

OK - but really, the parking place thing is specifically aimed at people who are there for Prom, but not registered at the hotel at all. The idea is to have the hotel put a small bloc aside for Prom guests who aren't hotel guests; that way, people who are driving in just for Prom and leaving afterward won't have to try for parking or wander around SOMA in their corsets afterward. Not that locals would object, but still...

People actually staying the night are a whole 'nother ball of wax.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Can I get a rough estimate - I know it's early yet and we have plenty of time - for non-guests at the hotel who will need a parking space at the hotel during Prom?

I count myself as roughly one person.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Deb - I'm not sure which way I count since my room is in Sail's name, but I'm staying at the hotel over the weekend.

I think we covered this already, but my brain has been a sieve lately.

Put me down as Prom attendee who is not a registered guest. If I decide to stay a night, I can make other arrangements for my car.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Verra important clothing update: I have decided, provided I have no Amazing Thrift Store Finds, to wear my wedding dress. Though I might need to get it taken in a bit.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Suddenly, I have the image of the end of "Too Wong Foo" in my head.

Without the drag queen aspect.

P-C, cool. Adding to list. I'm hope to get them to reserve about eight spaces for the evening. The spaces won't be free, but they'll hopefully be together and I may be able to get a reduced rate.

In the meantime, this may be useful:

From the hotel:

"Attached is a booking link to facilitate your attendees making reservations. Attendees may reserve your contracted rate directly through our reservation website by clicking below and entering the dates of their stay.

[link]

Please feel free to post this link on your website or communicate to your group as needed.

If guests wish to extend their stay outside of these dates, they will need to book a separate reservation on the web or contact hotel reservations directly at (415) 626-6103 ext 7303 .

Please advise your guests to make reservations as soon as possible. The rate will be available until April 16, 2006 as long as your group block does not fill."

In that case, count me out of the needing parking, since I am rooming with Steph and Jess while I am around.
