It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

By the way:

As people have to check out, it's a final gathering place.

Not sure I was clear - it would be ours through checkout on Sunday. IOW, through noon, which is when the hotel guests are checked out anyway.

Do we want it through Monday morning, for any reason? I'm actually thinking we might, since it appears we have ten guests on Sunday night.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sunday afternoon it was really nice to have in DC, and if there are that many still on Monday morning, that might be good as well.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's been nice in the past to have the HS an extra day so that after people check out on Sunday, they can hang out there until it's time to go to the airport. So even if we won't need it Sunday night necessarily, it'd be nice to have it all day.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just poking my head in to remind folks about the A's/Giants game on Sunday. Anyone who is checking out that day will need to handle the hotel side before heading over for the game.

I believe I have 14 folks interested. There may be extra tickets available, but will know more as we get closer.

So, the general vibe is that we do want the HS until Monday? No problem, so long as we can do the finances; I'll let Eva know.

I may need a parking spot, Deb--I was thinking of taking BART in, but if I do that I have to drive anyway (from the BART station home), and would have to leave by midnight.

The hotel's really putting out the red carpet, no doubt due to your skillful negotiating! Awesome!

Heh. 'suela, I'll bet you one hundred certified American red pennies that they're putting out the carpet because we're an obvious change from the insurance brokers and shoe salesmen they generally host these parties for.

Also, possibly, because I invited Eva and Lilibeth to come up and sample to spread in the hospitality suite.

But probably the fun-party factor.

Smooooth! And also the kind of thing that would never occur to me to do.

Deb, I'm waiting to hear back from my friend Larry on whether or not he'll be coming to Prom and needing a parking space. I'll let you know as soon as I hear.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hey, all. Sorry I haven't poked my head in here for the last couple of days -- end of quarter grading goodness. Ugh.

Aw, you guys are so sweet! I looked at the graduation schedule, though, and graduation is at noon, and I have no more sick days, so I'd have to be back Sunday night...and try as I might, my little Virgo head canNOT wrap its sysnapses around a plan ticket for a 24 stay. I'm so sorry -- I really will miss you all. It sounds...so fabulous. Deb, you are such a goddess - it's AMAZING.
