If I could prod the hivemind for a bit, does anyone know anything about whether there are particular difficulties for Chinese nationals applying for a visa to visit the US? Wallybee is a permanent resident in Australia, but still a Chinese citizen, and is concerned that this will make a visa application more difficult.

I wanted to pop in and give a ptbptbptb! to DX, because we have bought the non-refundable plane tickets to San Francisco! Direct, Boston--> SFO, flying in Monday and leaving the following Monday. whooooo!
