There's always Coit Tower, given to the City by Lillie Coit in honor of the firemen of San Francisco. The story is that the tower looks the way it does because she really loved those firemen.

Pete, here's an idea - the tops of everything poking out of fog.
I'll add that to the pile of ideas. It's may be cluttered and there'd probably be printability issues, especially on a shirt. But it has potential.
