These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I need in on the Dark Garden trip, as I've been encouraged to get a properly fitted corset.

Yes. This. And be damned to the expense.

And if I can't accompany JZ and Jilli to the thrift store...well, I'll cope manfully, but there may be weeping into my pillow.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I am pro-Dark Garden and thrifting on Haight. I think JZ and I should do a dry run first, though. Just to make sure it's all good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hee. I already emailed JZ about that.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Don't forget the cookie break at Citizen Cake, if Dark Garden is on the agenda.

Hmm. I'm not sure if I can remember that. Maybe you better be there to help us out .

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Current Prom headcount is 45 Yes and 5 Undecided.

Perkins, heh, We'll see what day it is. I'd love to come, and it isn't far from my 'hood, anyway.

Jess, I'm thinking maybe I'll tell Eva that the prom headcount is likely to be closer to 60 people than the 70 she'd pencilled in.

Herding cats for fun

Thrifting in SF should always include Community Thrift on Valencia and Thrift Town on Mission. I like TT because all their garments are hung up according to color & size, which makes a quick browse a thing of ease. CT is not so well stocked for clothing, but is warm and crunchy and focused on good works, and thus easy to justify unreasonable purchases to self. At least, if you're me. Plus: Near the pirate store and a lot of the good bookstores, too.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Thrifting would be fun, if there are objets, and not only clothing. Sf & Fantasy bookstore sounds good, as well. Also, whoot!Pete and Jilli! Nitrates (and possibly nitrites, as well) can trigger migraines, as well as other nasty health problems.

Peel and stick nametags work, but here's an idea--those of us who already own thing-on-a-lanyard dealies, bring 'em, and have card stock (or you know, paper, cut or torn to size) available and we can add a SF F2F 06 badge thingie to it. I have my LotR Trilogy Tuesday lanyard thing, and the DC F2F one that Teppy made, and possibly another or two. Any of them could be amended, or you know, addended.

Also, t-shirts?

I really like the idea of having the previous F2F dates/places on the back, like a concert tour shirt.

(And I'd be happy to set up the Cafepress store, but I don't know how much time I'll have this week to work up a graphic.)
