ETA: And apparently typing skills as well.

And, just talked to Eva. At the moment, we seem to be at 100% of the room block requirement. She's adding 5 additional rooms per night at that price, and we can adjust later if need be. But the rate req is now met.
Deb, does this mean that there are only 5 rooms left at our special rate? Did she mention how many more rooms at all there are still available, given that sj and Nicole were told that they are running out of rooms?
I believe sj and Nicole said they were running out of rooms on Sunday. I could be mistaken.
Edit: Nicole said Sunday, sj said the weekend.
Carry on.
and many many thrift and vintage stores all up and down Haight Street.
Oooooh.
Hmm, I should prod Pete about making our room reservations, shouldn't I?
Perkins, the "running out of rooms" meant only that we'd filled the initial block: that is, we'd already booked 10 for Thursday night, 25 each for Friday and Saturday nights, and 5 for Sunday night. The HOTEL isn't running out of rooms, and in fact, can add as many more to our block as we need, according to her, at that same rate.
Would I would like, please, is some cooperation from anyone who tries to reserve a room between now and my meeting with Eva next Wednesday, and who is told there are no more available at the discount block rate. If that happens, don't worry - she'll fix it. But I need to know if that happens so that we can add additional rooms at the good rate, yes?
Prod him hard. Beep his nose if necessary (he should see how it feels to be on the receiving end of a nose-beep every once in a while).
I cannot even begin to express just how totally (in fact inexpressibly) kick-ass it would be to go thrift and vintage shopping with Jilli in SF.

Oh good. Thanks!

Hee!
I just sent him email. Of course, once he reads that, I will probably be in for retaliatory nose-beeping when I get home.
Oh good. Thanks!
Welcome. I should make clear, though, that our cutoff date is still 16 April. If you book after that, you pay full hit.
Sorry, Deb. I probably should've just emailed you directly instead of alarming everyone.
For your talk with Eva, I told the woman on the phone that I didn't need the block rate for Sunday night if that was the problem and she said, "No, ma'am. We simply don't have *any* double rooms with two beds for Sunday May 21st."
