May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Also, I totally want to join the Trifecta of Hot Singleness, though I guess that would make it a... quadrifecta?

Let's make it a...quinfecta?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It feels a little wrong that I haven't been offering up my guest room/sofa/floor, but I live enough outside of SF that transportation becomes an issue, especially since I don't know how much I am going to be around that weekend.

People are welcome here, but it might well be a PITA for them.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

And I'm not offering because as soon as SF was voted in, my available spare beddage was booked.

Erin, if you're staying with juliana, I suspect you'll be helping her prep food, because she mentioned baking for the F2F at dinner the other night.

Vortex has offered me side-by-side as well as sous-chef help. At some point, I do want to know how many people who'll be staying at the hotel are checking in Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Also, reminding people who are staying at HICC through Sunday morning but who are doing B2B and Footstock afterward to arrange with the hotel to store their luggage until they're ready to head to the airport. Because you won't get back from the race until after checkout time.

Erin, I still have those Gucci's, and you may wear them if you like.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

You can stay at Chez Zmayhem, Kate, if you want.

Excellent! Thanks, David.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

One more is porn.

(OT, but aurelia doesn't hang out in GWW)

aurelia! A question for you; NoiseDesign suggested we ping you about this. We're designing a huge tour for a fictional megastar rock band, and my husband has something very interesting in mind for the lights, and how they're used, but we want to make sure that, even if the technology doesn't exist yet, it's possible as a concept.

Can Nic ask you about it? He and I were both sound people back in the when old day, so we're not up on the current lighting stuff. If that's ok, can you e me? sf underscore deb at yahoo dotcom.

(returning you to your regularly scheduled topic)

Insent, deb. Is this for the next book? I loved all the theatre stuff in FFoSM.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Perkins, I am not sure if we are going to be leaving on Monday or on Tuesday, but if we are still there on Monday, the aquarium sounds like something we would like to do.

Is this for the next book?

Yes, but not the Haunted Ballads series. It's for the fifth book in the new rock and roll series, the Kinkaid Chronicles.

We're actually a bit away from what Nic refers to as picking your brain for the info - the first three books are done and with my new agent, and I'm about to start the fourth. But the tour is going to take awhile to design, and Nic's in the beginnings of the tech stuff.

Am forwarding your email to Nic.

And you ROCK.
