juliana - if you are able to come down here for K's skating party, there are plenty of places for you to sleep for free. And you wouldn't have to worry about food or drinks or anything. We would want to spoil you.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!

Any bay-area-ista's up on TIVO connectivity? I have had my TIVO working just fine for a year. We lost cable for a day and when it came back my TIVO and my cable box stopped talking to eachother. I have tried all kinds of things with no success.
I can offer dinner in exchange....
We would want to spoil you.
Aw. Thank you so much. I'm going to try, that's for sure.
Well, as Empress, I decree you come.
There. I said it. :)
Well, as Empress, I decree you come.
Waits for SPP to arrive.

You might want to post your plea in Technology.

Not SPP, but I bet MM would want to watch.
Here's the article from the Contra Costa Times about the workshop smonster attended. If you have very sharp eyes, you might be able to pick her out in one of the pictures.
Ah. When she mentioned "Suhaila", I was pretty sure that was who she was referring to. Cool!
Oy.
Update:
Only just learned that a few people were still having issues calling the central reservations number (the 800 Holiday Inn booking phone number) about non-smoking rooms.
Here's what you do:
1. Call the HICC directly. Phone number is 415.626.6103
2. Ask for Inhouse Reservations
3. Tell them Buffistas and give them the dates. Tell them your preference.
4. If anyone experiences any difficulty, let me know. Don't suffer in silence. Making this as easy and as stress-free an experience as possible is part of the point-person gig, but I can't do it if no one tells me about a problem, okay?
