I think it would be a good idea not to even try to sleep until after the B2B. In fact, I might be found carrying prosecco in a plastic bottle as I meander somewhere along the race route.
F2F 3: Who's Bringing the Guacamole?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: San Francisco, May 19-21, 2006! Everything else, go here! Swag!
8AM? Forget the kilt and tiara. I'll be marathon-sleeping.
See, this is what I'm saying!
I know, I know. I'm very fond of the sleep myself. But this may be the only time I'm in SF when the B2B is held and it looks like more a fun race than a serious race and that appeals to me.
That is one of the lovely things about picking SF. There are so many options for things to do. Yay!
I may come a couple days early because it looks like DH may have to leave on Saturday to be in Baltimore on Sunday. Boo. I'm trying to talk him out of being all responsible.
I have walked the B2B a couple of times. Now, admiditly I am not quite as sleep loveing as some Buffistas - late sleeping, even when I don't sleep at night is 9am. But I will be walking it.
I like the idea of just painting ourselves blue and walking the B2B.
I can walk that far, but I am not only slower than people dressed as caterpillars but also slower than actual caterpillars.
Damn. Okay you convincers, guess I'm in too.
Tell you what - we'll get a gurney and you can sleep and we'll push you! It's along the lines of a stroller.
The advantage of doing a race at 8am on your coast is that my body will think it is a more decent hour of 11. This gives me hope.
While my body will think it's 6:00 pm, which I don't look forward to with any particular hope.
My body never knows what time it is.
