Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Are any NYC folks going to go get crushed by the mob of peoplewatch the big apple drop in Times Square?

Nope. I'm probably going to be in NY then, but crowds that size really aren't my thing. Plus, it's cold. I'll be somewhere inside.

It's an Elvis theme boutique hotel located across from Graceland, so only those with a very high kitsch tolerance should consider it.

you have to stay there just to take pictures. and the inevitable stories of crossing paths with those who take it seriously.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Having survived Thanksgiving, I can now start to think about Deborah's visit to Boston. FAQ Wife & I would be happy to host a little Buffista gathering on Saturday night, post-dinner.

Deborah -- does this fit in with your schedule? Also, I think I still need your arriving flight details.

Great, Jon, I was just about to email you about this!

Now, I *think* that Kate's Mystery Books is having their Xmas party on Saturday (and Deb's reading is on Friday) so I don't know about the timing of that will be. I wonder if an afternoon open house thing might be more in line with the schedule. But will wait for Deb to confirm times and stuff.

Tom and I would be more than happy to help with planning and logistics any way we can.

Thanks Nora. I'm going to be busy performing at the Bazaar Bizarre all day Sunday, so the Buffista gathering has got to be on the Saturday.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Kate's party is indeed on the Saturday, but for myself, I'm only planning to stick my head in, meet a couple of people, shake hands with them, and out the door. I'd love to see people Saturday night. edit - and maybe not even that; depends on what happens Friday night. Probably good politics if I do, though, and Jon, isn't your house walkable to Kate's? I can sneak in/out and be back to hang with every one. Boston! WOOT!

Jon, I think maybe my flight info disappeared into the Great Internet Void. I'm in next Thursday evening (eep!), Delta Air Lines #2031, arriving 8:11 pm.
